Jayam Ravi's Agilan, which was supposed to hit the screens in September last year, is finally gearing up for a release on March 10. The movie helmed by Kalyana Krishnan has the actor essaying a character who controls various illegal activities in a sea port.
This is the second time he is playing a role with grey shades after Aadhi Bhagavan which was released a decade ago. The makers unveiled its trailer a few days ago, offering more glimpses of the film's plot. They have now released a sneak peek video featuring a crucial sequence from the movie.
The promo video has Chirag Jani, who plays a strict cop, monitoring the entry of vehicles carrying goods to the sea port. The annoyed cop is seen clearing traffic on the road and asks his subordinate to be alert on suspicious movements. Enters Ravi with a friend of his who hails from an African country.
They bump into the cop after which the latter questions them on trying to enter the port in the wrong route. Ravi's character points out the heavy traffic on the road for the wrong entry. Upon questioning the African friend's whereabouts, he says that the former is about to leave for Kenya in a ship sometime.
As the conversation continues, Ravi's focus shifts to a container lorry which is about to get a clearance from the concerned staff before entering the port. The container is filled with a host of advanced toys. However, a person is inside the vehicle and is planning something big.
Ravi looks curious and breathes a sigh of relief after it gets clearance from an officer. The scene ends abruptly, leaving viewers glued to it. Sam CS' background score is expected to be one of the highlights of Agilan which has Priya Bhavani Shankar and Tanya Ravichandran playing female leads.
