Agilan trailer: Jayam Ravi is an unapologetic baddie in this action drama which is set in a sea port

The trailer of Kalyana Krishnan's Agilan, starring Jayam Ravi in the lead, has been unveiled at an event which has been attended by its cast and crew members. It is known that the actor plays a character with negative shade in the action drama which is set in a sea port.

The two-minute trailer offers more glimpse into the character's dark aspects as he sets out to finish off everyone who poses a challenge to him in the port. Ravi aces the role of a cunning criminal who controls the port convincingly, and his fans are waiting to watch him on the big screen on March 10.  

Priya Bhavani Shankar and Tanya Ravichandran essay key roles in the movie which has Hareesh Peradi, Chirag Jani and Harish Uthaman among others enacting important characters. Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd has produced the project which has Vivek Anand handling cinematography and N Ganesh Kumar in charge of editing.

Sam CS has composed music for Agilan which has stunt choreography helmed by Miracle Micheal while art direction has been handled by Vijay Murgan. It's after a long time that Ravi is essaying a character with grey shade. The movie marks his second collaboration with the director after Boologam.

Agilan was initially supposed to hit the screens in September, but the makers changed plans owing to reasons best known to them. The actor is currently busy with JR 30 and Siren being helmed by Rajesh and Antony Bhagyaraj respectively.

Ponniyin Selvan 2 is the star's next outing after Agilan. The much-awaited magnum opus will be released on April 28. The film which has him playing the role of Arunmozhi Varman is expected to bring him several accolades post its release.
