Ahan Shetty-Pooja Hegde starrer Sanki is set to be a musical-action movie, details inside

On Saturday, March 9, Sajid Nadiadwala announced a new film starring Ahan Shetty and Pooja Hegde in the lead. Now, according to recent reports, it is revealed that the film will not just be an action flick but it will be a blend of action with music as it will have a total number of 7 songs. 

Sanki is set to be a musical-action movie

According to Pinkvilla, Sanki is expected to be a musical-action extravaganza. The film will showcase a modern love story that has action as its backdrop. The amkers have planned several songs for this Ahan Shetty and Pooja Hegde starrer which will be contributed by multiple music composers. According to the insider, the filming of the movie starts in the next couple of months and the locations are still being finalized.

With this recent development, we can expect Sanki to deliver an intriguing layer to the romance and action. As the insider suggests that the film will have seven songs altogether, this will be a new ground of experiment for Ahan as well as Pooja as this is the first time they will be seen in a musical-action extravaganza. Previously worked with Sajid Nadiadwala for his debut film Tadap, let's wait and watch to see what new this Ahan Shetty is set to deliver.

Directed by the dynamic debut directors Adnan A Shaikh and Yasir Jah, the film is written by Rajat Arora.

While announcing the film, the production house Nadiadwala Grandson shared the news with the caption: "The Sanki's are on their way to take over the cinemas on Valentine's Day. #SajidNadiadwala's #Sanki starring #AhanShetty & @hegdepooja releasing on 14th February 2025 in cinemas near you. Ahan's father-actor Suniel Shetty also shared his pride on his social media account and wrote: "Good things come to those who have patience and wait, but better things come to those who have patience and work for it. Congratulations son, on the announcement of #Sanki. Your perseverance is admirable, and I couldn't be prouder. Wishing you nothing but the best on this exciting journey!"

Meanwhile, Sanki is set to hit theatres on Valentine's Day 2025, i.e., February 14.
