120 Bahadur is an upcoming Hindi-language war film of 2025. The film, starring Farhan Akhtar, is based on the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 India-China War. In the film, Farhan plays the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. Ahead of the release, Farhan opened up about the difference between patriotism and jingoism.

He added that when soldiers act out of duty, you don’t need to beat the drum louder than it’s already beating. "Their choices reflect their loyalty. If you stick to that truth, the film stays grounded," Akhtar said.

Recalling meeting Major Shaitaan Singh's family during the preparation of 120 Bahadur, he shared, “His son said he would always smile, even in the toughest situations. That told me everything about his temperament and leadership.” He also said that no battle is won alone; leadership is quiet, and courage is collective.

About 120 Bahadur

120 Bahadur is a 2025 Hindi war film based on the true story of the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. The plot centres on Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and the 120 soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who bravely fought against 3,000 Chinese troops. 

The film stars Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. Major Shaitan was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra. The cast also features Raashii Khanna as Major Shaitan Singh's wife, Vivan Bhatena, Eijaz Khan, Ajinkya Deo as a Brigadier, Ankit Siwach, Ashutosh Shukla, and others.
