You may think being a nepotist product can be a privilege, but that's not what stars actually believe, and they have been repeatedly talking about this in various interviews and chat shows. Whether it's on a podcast or Karan Johar's famous chat show, Koffee With Karan, several star kids have claimed that even they have to struggle like outsiders because a film’s success is in the audience’s hand.

Tiger Shroff's flop films in recent times

One example is Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff's son. Although he tasted success with his debut film, Heropanti, in 2014, his recent films have not been impressing audiences. Tiger, who became a bankable star with the Baaghi (2016-2020) film series, failed to impress with films like A Flying Jatt (2016), Munna Michael (2017), and Ganapath (2023). Even Heropanti's sequel was a box-office dud. This has, as one wuld assume, affected the actor.

Tiger Shroff's reaction to his failures

Recently, while talking to Neha Dhupia on her podcast No Filter Neha, Tiger finally opened up, talked about his failure and got emotional. The 33-year-old actor was invited to the 6th episode of No Filter Neha, where he said that he takes people’s bad words and the failure to heart. He added that he genuinely puts extra effort into each and every film because most filmmakers approach him for action films. And such films cause a lot of mental, physical and emotional stress for any actor. Tiger was quick to add that he doesn't mind going through all of these struggles to entertain audiences.

Tiger shared that, after all of these struggles, if the film does not work at the box office, it shatters him. Rather than blaming others, he starts to question himself, asking if the struggle was worth it.

Will Tiger's luck change with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan?

Tiger is looking to change his luck with his upcoming film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. This is the first time Tiger has collaborated with Akshay Kumar, who is known for starring in thrilling action films since the 1990s. The film was announced way back in 2022, via Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is an action-thriller, in which we will get to see Akshay and Tiger as cops, doing hardcore action sequences. After Pathaan, Jawan, and Bloody Daddy, this film looks like the next big film in Bollywood.

So mark your calendars, as Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is set to be released in theatres on April 9.
