Ahead of Mark Antony OTT debut, Vishal celebrates its theatrical success

Mark Antony is a special film in actor-producer Vishal's career. Firstly, it is his 25th movie, which is a milestone in itself. And secondly, it is his first movie to earn Rs 100 crore from its global box office receipts. 

After a tremendous run at the box office, Mark Antony is now set to make its debut on the streaming platform soon. In the meantime, adding to its growing list of achievements, the movie has also completed 25 days in cinemas across the world.

Vishal marked the movie's theatrical success by issuing a note of thanks. He expressed his gratitude to fans for making this movie the biggest hit in his career spanning nearly two decades. Not just for Vishal, Mark Antony was also an important movie for director Adhik Ravichandran. If the movie had failed to click with the mass audiences, it would been a major setback for Adhik. The success of this movie threw a much-needed lifer to Adhik, who made a career in Tamil cinema by making adult comedies.

Mark Antony is a fantasy time-travelling movie, which also stars SJ Suryah in one of the lead roles. 

According to reports, Mark Antony will become available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video this week. An official confirmation on the same is awaited.
