With just a day to go for the release of Samantha's Shaakuntalam, the actress has been leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. The film, directed by Gunasekhar, is based on Kalidasa's Abhignyana Shakuntalam and it features Samantha as Shakuntala and Dev Mohan as King Dushyantha. Wishes have been pouring in for Samantha and team from across the quarters.

The latest to wish the team is Samantha's Kushi co-star Vijay Deverakonda. Taking to his social media handle, the actor wrote, " Sammy, You are so full of love, always wanting to do right, spread cheer, still giving your everything for each shot in a film as if your entire career depended on it.

Calling Samantha a fighter, Deverakonda wrote, "The world might never never know what a fighter you have been the past 1 year, always trying to put up a smile and your best foot forward for your teams, films and fans even though your body needs a break, needs rest."

His note added, "I wish you all luck for #Shaakuntalam tomorrow. Your will and the love of millions will always keep you safe. It will all be well."

Replying to the note, Samantha wrote that she was at complete loss of words and that she really needed the support.

The duo are working together for the romantic comedy Kushi, which is written and directed by Shiva Nirvana. The star cast includes Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Rohini , Ali, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar to name a few. The team had shot a schedule in Kashmir, after which they took a break after Samantha was diagnosed with Myositis.

On the other hand, Shaakuntalam, will be releasing in three languages tomorrow- Telugu, Tamil and Hindi- across theatres worldwide. The mythological drama is bankrolled by Gunaa Teamworks and Sri Venkateswara Creations.
