Ahead of Vikram's first single release, Kamal Haasan, Anirudh express mutual admiration

It was announced earlier that team Vikram will launch its first single on May 11. Anirudh Ravichander, the film's music composer, announced yesterday that Kamal Haasan himself has penned lyrics and lent voice for the song which has been titled Pathala Pathala. He had also posted pictures of himself posing for photos with Kamal and director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

All praise for Ulaganayagan, Anirudh said he enjoyed the session and thanked him for the wonderful experience. In his reply, Kamal showered praises on the young composer's talent and hailed his family which boasts of many talents.

His tweet read, "All the while I was thinking about what a great lineage you  belong to. From your great grandfather to YOU, what abundant talents and achievements in one family. You are truly living up to your family standards of excellence. More power to you my young friend (sic)."

Vikram, produced by Kamal's Raaj Kamal Films International, will hit the screens on June 3 in multiple languages. The action flick marks the veteran actor-filmmaker's return to the silver screen after a four-year hiatus. He was last seen in Vishwaroopam 2 which was released in 2018.         

Girish Gangadharan and Philomin Raj handle cinematography and editing respectively for the movie which has Sathees Kumar in charge of art direction. National Award winning stunt choreographers Anbariv has composed action scenes for the project which has dance choreography by Sandy.

Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Naren, Kalidas Jayaram and Shivani Narayanan among others essay pivotal roles in Vikram which will drop on Disney+ Hotstar after a month of its theatrical release. The makers had revealed its title teaser and first glimpse so far, and fans of Kamal and other film buffs are waiting for its much-awaited trailer.
