Aishwarya Lekshmi, Simran cast in Shakti Soundar Rajan’s untitled sci-fi movie led by Arya

Actor Arya and director Shakti Soundar Rajan are coming together once again, this time for a sci-fi movie. The movie which has a multi-star cast also features Aishwarya Lekshmi and Simran. 

Aishwarya will be the female lead in the movie and Kannada actor Kavya Shetty will also be seen in the movie. The movie also features Harish Uthaman, Gokul Anand and Bharath Raj.

According to a report by Times of India, the sci-fi movie is going on the floors today. 

The movie will have music by D Imman, a regular collaborator with the director. S Yuva will be the cinematographer and the movie will be edited by Pradeep E Raghav.

Talking to CT about the movie, the director says, “This film will be in the action sci-fi genre. We have been doing the pre-production work on this film for the past nine months as it is being made on a big scale.”

Arya was last seen in Aranmanai 3, the comedy horror directed by Sundar C. The actor will also be seen in Anand Shankar’s high-octane action thriller Enemy co-starring Vishal.

Lekshmi, who’s last Tamil outing was in Jagame Thandhiram starring Dhanush, was last seen in the Malayalam drama Kaanekkaane. 

She is a busy star and has a number of movies lined up including Archana 31 Not Out, Kumari and will also feature in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming magnum opus, Ponniyin Selvan.
