Ajith, Shalini's romantic pics storm the internet yet again amid fans awaiting an official update on AK 62

Ever since Vignesh Shivan was out of AK 62 (tentative title), the next project of Ajith, speculations started doing the rounds on social media with regard to the former's exit from the movie and the filmmaker who is likely to bag the opportunity. Though it is said to be Magizh Thirumeni who is going to helm the film, an official update is eagerly awaited.

As per the earlier plans, the project which has Lyca Productions bankrolling it, was supposed to hit the screens as a Deepavali release. However, fans are eager to know if the plan is still on and when the team is going on floors.

A few stills of Ajith have been going viral in recent times, and now, a couple of more of them have surfaced on social media. This time, Ajith is seen accompanied by his better-half and former actress Shalini. The two of them are seen having a whale of a time in a yacht during their recent visit to Dubai.

Ajith is attired in a green shirt while Shalini is spotted in a white outfit; one of the favourite couples of Kollywood is giving us major relationship goals with the pictures.

However, there are mixed reactions from fans, though. While many of them are elated at seeing their favourite star having a gala time, they are curious on when the star will join AK 62 which was supposed to take off in February. The rumours on the film's music composer, too, refuse to slow down.

On one hand, there are unconfirmed reports on Santhosh Narayanan having been brought on board, while the possibility of Anirudh joining the team is yet to be ruled out. While the former is yet to team up with Ajith, the latter has worked in Vedalam and Vivegam.
