Fans of Ajith Kumar, who have been excited with the performance of the star's first outing of this year, Thunivu, are super elated at the film dropping on Netflix today. The H Vinoth directorial has been released in multiple languages and its Telugu version is titled Tegimpu.

The movie, which is based on a heist drama, was released in theatres on January 11, and went on to collect around 200 crores at the box office. Many fans of the star and others have been sharing screenshots from their favourite scenes in the movie on social media and are analyzing its positive and negative aspects.

The project, bankrolled by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Pictures and Zee Studios, is still running in theatres and is attracting crowds on weekends. Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, Balasaravanan, Ajay, Mohana Sundaram, Veera, Prem and Bagavathi Perumal among others played key roles in the movie which has music composed by Ghibran.

The background score and action scenes composed by Supreme Sundar have been garnering good response from film buffs after its OTT premiere. However, many fans of Ajith seem to be more eager to know about the update on AK 62 (tentative title), his forthcoming film.

Ever since Vignesh Shivan has been out of the project, fans are curious to know which filmmaker will be at the movie's helm. Magizh Thirumeni is likely to come on board, but cinephiles are waiting for an official confirmation from Lyca Productions who is producing the film.

The names of Vishnuvardhan and Venkat Prabhu were also doing the rounds, but sources say that they are unlikely to team up with Ajith again in the near future as they are busy with other commitments.
