Akhil's Agent: Writer Vakkantam Vamsi being trolled after news breaks out about his hefty remuneration

Akhil Akkineni has given blood and soul for his film Agent which has been in the making for the last two years or so. The action drama was released yesterday with a very negative response from all over. Director Surender Reddy is being blamed for the way he made the film. Anil Sunkara produced this film on a budget of 70 crores and he will surely see losses.

Well, the film had a story by Vakkantam Vamsi and who is a popular writer and has penned stories for hit films like Kick which was later remade in Hindi with the same name. Now, we have come to know from our sources that Vakkantam Vamsi was paid a whopping 2 crores for the story. He is being trolled on social media big time now.

Vakkantam Vamsi had also directed Allu Arjun in the film Na Peru Surya. The film ended as a big flop and disappointed fans of the star hero big time. As of now, Vamsi is directing Nithin for an action drama and the film went on floors recently. All those who have seen the film were commenting on the regular story which Agent had.

Akhil was seen as an ethical hacker who becomes an agent in the film. Sakshi Vaidya plays the female lead in this film which had Malayalam star Mammootty in a crucial role. The film started on a decent note on day one but as the word of mouth is bad, the collections have fallen down. As PS-2 has also released yesterday we need to see how much will Agent make at the box office.
