Kiran Abbavaram is one of the most promising actors in Telugu cinema. After the success of his latest film Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, he released one more film of his titled Meter. The cop drama hit the screens on the 7th of April 2023 along with Ravi Teja's Ravanasura. But sadly, the film opened to a very bad talk and ended as a disaster at the box office.

Well, now the news is that the film is all set for an OTT release. We at OTTplay had already reported that Netflix had bagged the rights for a decent price. Now, the update is that the cop drama will be out on the 5th of May. Kiran Abbavaram plays a reluctant cop in this film which has been produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Within three days of its release, the film has been removed from several theaters and Nani's Dasara was given a second chance. Mythri Movie Makers and Clap Entertainment are the producers of Meter and they produced this film on a very low budget and did not spend much on promotions as well. One of the biggest complaints from the audience is that the narration was loud, and the story was beaten to death.

Kiran Abbavaram needs to make sure that he selects good scripts to go to the next level. He is a talented actor but is not choosing his film properly. Also, he feels that he can pull off any role and did the same with his cop character but the film ended as a flop and gave him the idea that it is not about playing mass roles all the time but content also matters.
