Ala Ninnu Cheri OTT release date - When, where to watch Dinesh Tej, Hebah Patel’s romance drama

Dinesh Tej, who rose to fame with his appearance in the surprise hit Hushaaru, impressed many with his performance in the sci-fi thriller Play Back as well. After the urban romance Merise Merise that hit screens in 2021, he returned with a romance drama Ala Ninnu Cheri recently. The film, written and directed by Maresh Shivan, released in theatres on November 10.

Ala Ninnu Cheri has two female leads - Hebah Patel and Payal Radhakrishna, with latter dominating the proceedings in the first half; the Kumari 21 actress making her presence felt in the second hour. Kommalapati Sai Sudhakar bankrolled the film under Viision Movie Makers while Kommalapati Sridhar presented the romance drama. The film is now out on OTT.

Nearly six weeks after its theatrical run, Ala Ninnu Cheri premiered globally on Amazon Prime Video earlier today. “The fun, action and emotional family entertainer #AlaNinnuCheri which received positive response after its theatrical release is streaming right now on @PrimeVideoIN. Watch the movie with your family members and get entertained,” the production house shared.

During the pre-release interviews, the director Maresh Shivan stated that the film portrays a rural youngster’s conflict between his family and ambition. “Ala Ninnu Cheri has a strong emotional appeal and will haunt you long after the film is over,” the filmmaker had stated. Upon its theatrical release, the film had a modest run at the box office and received mixed responses from critics.

Kalpalatha, Khedar Shankar, Jhansi, Shatru, Mahesh Achanta, Chammak Chandra, Basha, Anashvi Reddy, Shiva Kumar, Mirchi Madhavi, Sri Lalitha, Keerthi Naidu, Josh Ravi, Shivanya Mehra and Pooja Kasekar essayed other key roles in the film. Veteran technician Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao edited the film while I Andrew Babu is the cinematographer.

Subhash Anand is the composer. Vithal Kosanam is the art director and King Solomon, Rama Krishan are the stunt directors respectively.
