Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt first collaborated in 2016 for Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi. Since then, they have shared the screen in brief appearances—Alia made a cameo in Zero (2018), while SRK had a special appearance in Brahmāstra. Beyond acting, they also worked together as producers on the Netflix original film Darlings. However, despite these collaborations, the two have not starred as lead actors in a film together since Dear Zindagi.

Now, at the Fan Meet & Greet, Alia Bhatt as per India Forums revealed that she is eager to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen. When a fan asked about her dream co-star, Alia, without hesitation, named Shah Rukh Khan. During the interaction, as reported by Filmfare, Alia was asked which of her characters she would love to live for a day. The actor responded cryptically, saying, "The best one is always the next one," subtly referring to her highly anticipated role in Alpha.Interestingly, while Alia is also working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, her next release is Alpha.

What We Know About Alpha

Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha has been in pre-production for a long time. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in action-packed roles, with reports suggesting that Bhatt has undergone intense training for the part. The film will be shot across multiple international locations, with Anil Kapoor playing the mentor to the lead characters.

While plot details remain under wraps, Alpha is set within the YRF Spy Universe, which includes Tiger, War, and Pathaan. The film is slated for a theatrical release on December 25, 2025.
