Telugu superstar Allu Arjun on Monday marked the 14th anniversary of Arya 2, one of the important films that helped to cement his position in the industry. He wrote a short but gratitude-filled message while sharing a few nostalgic-inducing behind-the-scenes pictures of Arya 2.
"14 Years of Arya2 . A Film that will always be very Spl & close to my heart #14YearsForArya2," Allu Arjun tweeted.

Arya 2 was director Sukumar's second collaboration with Allu Arjun and it helped elevate the latter's stardom across the southern states.
It wouldn't be wrong to say that Allu Arjun's acting career would not have been the same without Arya. He might have been a successful actor, but Arya helped him to achieve a huge success, very early on in his career, instantly putting him in the league of big stars of Telugu cinema.

Not just in the Telugu states, Arya was instrumental in expanding Allu Arjun's fan base in other South Indian states too. Allu Arjun gained a huge fan following in Karnataka and Kerala, courtesy of Arya.
Similar to the first film, Arya 2 is also a character-driven narration. It tells the story of an orphan, who is obsessed with his best friend. The film explores themes of love, friendship, and the complexities of relationships. And it gained popularity for its catchy music, choreography, and Allu Arjun's charismatic screen presence.
Arya 2 is streaming on Zee5, OTTplay Premium and Aha.
In the meantime, Allu Arjun and Sukumar caught the imagination of the nation with their 2021 action drama Pushpa: The Rise. The actor-director duo is now busy making the second part of the blockbuster movie titled Pushpa 2 The Rule. The film is due to arrive in cinemas on August 15, 2024.
