Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan has already got fans raving and it’s sure to get more screens in Kerala too. While other industries have shifted the release dates of big films due to SRK’s much-anticipated actioner, Mollywood has offered two big releases in Mohanlal’s Alone and Vineeth Sreenivasan, Biju Menon’s Thankam for the theatrical audience. Unni Mukundan’s Malikappuram, Mammootty’s Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam and Antony Varghese’s Poovan are also playing in select theatres.

For those unwilling to step out of their homes and have already watched Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Kaapa on Netflix, Nivin Pauly’s comedy-entertainer Saturday Night is gearing up to drop on a leading OTT platform. Here’s all you need to know about this week’s Malayalam releases.
