What started with Salman Khan’s Tiger franchise for Yash Raj Films soon expanded into a larger vision with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War and became a phenomenon when Shah Rukh Khan joined with Pathaan. Now, with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, the universe is set to introduce its first female-led spy film—an exciting upgrade to the franchise. Alia Bhatt Cryptically Talks About Alpha?
Alia Bhatt met her fans yesterday at a Meet & Greet event, sitting down with them at a Mumbai restaurant to discuss a variety of topics. While her comments on Dulhania 3 became the highlight of the event, fans have now realized that, in plain sight, Alia also subtly mentioned Alpha, calling it her best role. Yes, you read that right! The internet is abuzz, trying to decode what she meant, as anticipation builds for the film’s December 2025 release.
During the fan interaction, as per Filmfare, Alia was asked which of her characters she would like to live as for a day. The actor cryptically responded, "The best one is always the next one," hinting at her highly anticipated role in Alpha. Interestingly, while she is also working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, her next film is Alpha.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha has b een in pre-production for a long time. The film features Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in action-packed avatars, with reports suggesting that Bhatt has undergone intense training to prepare for her role. The movie will be shot in various locations across the world, and Anil Kapoor is set to play their mentor. While plot details remain under wraps, the film is officially connected to the YRF Spy Universe, which includes Tiger, War, and Pathaan. Alpha is set to release on the big screen on December 25, 2025.
Alia Bhatt on Dulhania 3
During the same Meet & Greet, Alia was, of course, asked about Dulhania 3. Fans urged her to reunite with Varun Dhawan and questioned whether anything was in the works. While moved by their enthusiasm, Alia admitted she was just as clueless as them regarding the film’s progress. She responded, "Haan, par script honi chahiye na" (Yes, but there should be a script, right?). To this, fans excitedly quipped, "Hum fans bana lenge!" (We fans will make it!).
Alia was pleasantly surprised by their enthusiasm, laughing and even encouraging them.
"That’s a great idea. It will be the first of its kind. Why don’t you all come together and write a script? It will be amazing. It’s a fabulous idea, in fact... chalo karo!" (Go ahead, do it!).
