Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra are gearing up for the release of their film, Amar Singh Chamkila. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the movie is set to release on Netflix on April 12. Ahead of that, the makers held a grand trailer launch of the film. Amar Singh Chamkila's trailer received a green signal from the audience. And now, Diljit has shared a hilarious video with his co-star, Parineeti. In the caption, the singer mentioned that Parieneti unleashed her inner Rihanna during a scene.

Diljit Dosanjh shared a goofy video on his official Instagram account. While performing a scene, Diljit was completely engrossed in the character; however, Parineeti pulled off a hilarious act. It led to Dosanjh joking that it was the actress' last day on the set. After acting like pop star Rihanna (as mentioned by Diljit), Parineeti couldn't stop chuckling.

"Amarjot Ch Rihanna Aa Gai C Chamkila 12th April Only on netflix_in (sic)," the caption to Diljit Dosanjh's post read. A few days ago, Diljit posted never-seen-before stills from the set of Amar Singh Chamkila. While Dosanjh plays the titular role, Parineeti will be seen in the role of his wife, Amarjot Kaur.

Meanwhile, in an interview with PTI, Parineeti Chopra revealed that she waited for 9 years to work with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. "I have been waiting to work with him for more than nine years. The day I had come into the movies, I had made a list of directors and sir's name was on number one. Even though I felt he would never work with me, I still put him on the list. Now, it has happened," the actress said.

What is Amar Singh Chamkila about?

Talking about the Imtiaz Ali directorial, Amar Singh Chamkila is based on the life of the late musician. For the uninitiated, Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur were killed in 1988 in an assassination that remains unsolved.
