Director duo Pushkar Gayathri has been busy with the Bollywood remake of Tamil film Vikram Vedha which released in 2017. Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan play the characters enacted by Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan respectively in the Hindi film. Even as movie buffs are awaiting an update on the release of the movie, here comes another announcement on the filmmakers' next.

Amazon Prime Video has been announcing their upcoming 41 projects at a glitzy event in Mumbai. As part of the event, they revealed that Suzhal and Vadhandhi, for which Pushkar and Gayathri are creative producers, are two of their much-awaited projects which will drop on the OTT platform soon.

Suzhal, which stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Parthiban, Shriya Reddy and Kathir, has been directed by Bramma and Anucharan. Pushkar-Gayathri has written the screenplay as well for the project which revolves around an investigation about the missing case of a man which goes on to unravel many complex mysteries. Kathir and Shriya play cops in the series; the makers revealed a poster of the project as well.

Vadhandhi, on the other hand, has Andrew Louis at its helm. SJ Suryah, Laila, Nasser and Sanjana essay lead characters in the series which is billed as a murder mystery.

Produced by Wallwatcher Films, its story revolves around the murder of a young girl, a dedicated cop, a novelist and a selfish news editor. How the prime plot connects all the four of them who hail from various backgrounds forms the rest of the story.

The release dates of the two series will be announced later. However, it is expected that both the projects will have a release on Amazon Prime Video later this year.
