There's a wild rumour going around, and it is about Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 casting. Raveena Tandon's daughter Rasha Thadani, who made her acting debut recently, has caught the eye of filmmakers and is supposedly a part of Pati Patni Aur Woh sequel. Ananya Panday, who was in the original film, thus appears to have avoided her, even when the actresses were seated next to one another at an awards show.
Given how Ananya Panday and Rasha Thadani are both beloved among filmmakers today, the netizens expected them to be cordial at an awards show. However, much to everybody's surprise, they rather avoided eye contact even when seated next to each other. This raised eyebrows and lots of doubts.

Ananya and Rasha might have avoided each other because the latter has replaced the former in the sequel. At least that is what netizens believe. Nonetheless, Ananya is being questioned for behaving rude with Rasha, who is her junior in the industry at this point.
Another reason why Ananya and Rasha might be avoiding each other is because the original film Pati Patni Aur Woh itself got into controversy. This happened when Ananya was getting spotted with Kartik Aaryan constantly, leading to their dating rumours. Many believe that the same was confirmed when Ananya appeared with Sara Ali Khan on Koffee With Karan. Sara had clarified that she and Ananya share an ex and the immediate chatter was that they were talking about Kartik. Of course, none of them ever confirmed the dating phase. So, probably trying to keep gossip to a minimal, Ananya and Rasha avoided each other even when seated next to each other. Or they're just not as acquainted yet to share a friendly chat. Nonetheless, it would have been lovely to see the two actresses catch up with one another when the opportunity presented itself.
