Ananya Panday: There is no better time to be an artiste than today

Ananya Panday made her big acting debut in 2019 with Student of the Year 2. The actor is now set to star in some of the big-name projects. Though Panday has only been in a handful of movies, she is already a popular actor among her fans. 

At a recent event, as reported by the Times of India, the actor shared how there is no better time for an artiste than today and her plans for the upcoming year. “I am planning to bring in 2022 with a lot of happiness, good health and some good movies.”

Panday will be seen in a romantic film alongside Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi. The movie is directed by Shakun Batra and the project will be officially unveiled soon.

Panday will also be seen alongside Vijay Deverakonda in the highly-anticipated sports drama Liger, which will also mark her bilingual debut. While she got the chance to shake a leg with Will Smith in her debut film, she will get a chance to also act with boxing legend Mike Tyson in Liger. 

Talking about acting with the boxing legend, Panday said that she does not know how it happened but she has now shot some scenes with Mike Tyson, after having danced with Will Smith. She added that when Tyson went in front of the camera, he was powerful and cool and that he has a magnetic personality. 

While there are a few more movies that the star will be a part of, she is eagerly waiting for the announcements of these movies that are in the pipeline.
