'And Just Like That' Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis return as iconic Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte for the third season

Max has announced the third season of And Just Like That... The Season 2 finale will stream on the OTT platform (JioCinema in India) on August 24, so this announcement couldn't come at a better time. The second season debuted on June 22, the original premiere date.

In a statement, executive producer and showrunner Michael Patrick King expressed his excitement at the opportunity to spend more time in the Sex and the City universe, crafting fresh tales about the lives of these sympathetic and ambitious characters portrayed by these fantastic actors. The third season has arrived "just like that."

Stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis are all back together again after their stint in Sex and the City. John Corbett's Aidan character was reprised this season. Season 2 also stars Alexa Swinton, Cathy Ang, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Jackson, Niall Handler, Evan Handler, David Eigenberg, Mario Cantone, and Sarita Choudhury. Kim Cattrall, an original cast member, will make a brief appearance in the last episode.

Michael served as creator, executive producer, and showrunner for the entire series. The executive producers are Sarah, Kristin, and Cynthia. In addition to John Melfi and Elisa Zuritsky, Julie Rottenberg and Julie Rottenberg serve as executive producers. The HBO series Sex and the City, developed by Darren Star, is based on Candace Bushnell's book of the same name.
