Andhagan on OTT: Prashanth’s black comedy film now streams on OTTplay Premium

Andhagan, the 2024 Tamil film starring Prashanth in the lead role, is now available for streaming on Aha Tamil and SunNXT platforms. Both the film are offerings of OTTplay Premium app. Andhagan is the Tamil adaptation of Hindi crime comedy film Andhadhun.

Andhagan is the Tamil remake of hit Hindi film Andhadhun. The Tamil version is headlined by actor Prashanth and released in theatres in August this year. The film features a star ensemble, including actors Simran, Priya Anand, Karthik, Samuthirakani, Urvashi, Yogi Babu, KS Ravikumar and others.

Andhagan is a black comedy film, revolving around a pianist who is blind. After he witnesses a murder committed by a rich housewife, the pianist gets into a trouble that leads to a series of events. The film, much like its original, was hailed for its performances and execution. Andhagan is helmed by veteran actor and Prashanth’s father Thiagarajan. The film is now made available on Aha Tamil and SunNXT. Both the platforms are available along with the OTTplay Premium app.

Andhagan is produced by Staar Movies, Prashanth's home banner. The technical crew consists of Santhosh Narayanan scoring the music and Sathish Suriya handling the edits. Ravi Yadav is the cinematographer.

Where to watch Andhadhun on OTT

Andhadhun Andhadhun released in 2018, co-written and directed by Sriram Raghavan. Featuring actors Tabu, Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte and Anil Dhawan, the film is available on Prime Video.

Owing to its critical and commercial success, the film was remade in several languages; Telugu as Maestro starring Nithiin, in Malayalam as Bhramam with Prithviraj Sukumaran and in Tamil as Andhagan.
