Telugu actor Ram Pothineni is going through a very bad phase in his career with back-to-back flops. To make a comeback, he has teamed up with director Mahesh Babu P of Miss Shetty, Mr. Polishetty fame, for a breezy romantic comedy.
The shooting of the film is happening at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. Key scenes featuring Ram Pothineni and the female lead, Bhagyashree Borse, are being canned by the makers on a specially erected set.

On the other hand, we have now come to know that star music director Anirudh has joined the project for a special number. As per the latest buzz in film circles, music directors Vivek–Mervin have roped in Anirudh to croon a special song in the film titled Andhra King Taluka.
The special aspect of the song is that the main lead, Ram Pothineni, has himself penned the lyrics. So that means Anirudh will sing lyrics written by Ram Pothineni in this much-awaited film. Anirudh has sung for many heroes in the past, but in Telugu, it is quite rare. So his singing for Ram Pothineni has become a hot topic of discussion. The makers will soon announce the same in the days to come.

The teaser of the film was released recently and showcases Ram Pothineni as an ardent fan of Kannada star Upendra. The film follows the journey of a die-hard fan of a massive movie star played by Upendra, what issues he goes through in life, and what happens when one fan goes all out in love for his screen idol. Ram Pothineni will be seen in a completely new look in this film, which is being made on a massive scale.
On the other hand, Anirudh is very busy with his new film Coolie, featuring Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, and Soubin Shahir. Songs composed by Anirudh have become chartbusters in no time and have made him an even bigger star in the Indian film industry. We need to see what kind of impact he creates for this Ram Pothineni-starrer. Watch this space for more updates.
