Andhra King Taluka opened with very good word of mouth and made decent numbers in its first weekend. But the numbers are not enough, as the film had to pass the Monday test with flying colors. Sadly, that did not happen, as the Ram Pothineni starrer only made Rs 1.4 crore, according to the tracking portal Sacnilk.

These are below-par numbers, considering the popularity of Ram Pothineni. With this, the total collections of the film have added up to Rs 17.5 crore. To be in the safe zone, Andhra King Taluka needs to cross the Rs 25 crore mark by the end of its run.
The makers are quite confident that once Ram Pothineni and female lead Bhagyashri Borse return from the US, they will engage in post-release promotions. Speaking of the US, Andhra King Taluka has grossed just over $450K as per M9 News and needs to make close to one million dollars to be in the safe zone.
Mahesh Babu P, who last made Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, has directed the film, and he is being praised for the way he has narrated the story of an ardent fan and how far he can go for his favorite movie star, played by Upendra. The film is about a fan going all out to produce his favorite star's 100th film and the difficulties he faces in the process.
