The latest update is that Mass Jathara will be available on Netflix from November 30, 2025. Bhanu Bhogavarapu, the popular writer in Telugu cinema, made his directorial debut with this film, which was backed by the makers of DJ Tillu, Lucky Baskhar, and Daaku Maharaj. They invested heavily in the film and saw losses close to Rs 17 crore. Thanks to the OTT deal, they recovered a chunk of the money.

Sreeleela played the female lead in this film, which is her second with Ravi Teja. Their previous collaboration was Dhamaka, which was a blockbuster hit at the box office and made big money. But sadly, Mass Jathara did not fetch them any luck at the box office.

Ravi Teja plays a railway cop in the film, and his duty is to stop a massive drug consignment from crossing the state border. Naveen Chandra plays the main villain in this film, and his performance was hugely appreciated by critics.

Mass Jathara is Ravi Teja's fifth back-to-back flop in recent times. He is being trolled heavily for choosing the same old action dramas with mass backdrops.
