Rashmika Mandanna recently collaborated with Ranbir Kapoor on their forthcoming flick Animal. Rashmika spoke about her first encounter with Ranbir in a recent interview with Filmfare, “He’s extremely loving. I was, of course, nervous when I met him first, but I think he’s so easygoing that five minutes into the look test, we were already very comfortable with each other. Thinking about it, it’s amazing how easy it’s been so far with Ranbir and Sandeep,”the actress stated.

Afterwards, the actress stated that Ranbir is now the only individual in the industry who addresses her as ma'am. “And he’s the only one in the whole industry who calls me ‘ma’am,’ and I do not like it. I will get him for this one,”the actress giggled.

Rashmika also addressed the ongoing "Pan India star" controversy. As per the actor, she always hoped to know multiple languages so that she would relate with her fans via her film and her voice,"so the concept of "pan-Indian star" just came along. For me, as long as I can reach the heart of the audience across the globe, I will do it, even if it means learning many more languages,” the actress said.

T-Series, Cine 1 Studios, and Bhadrakali Pictures will produce Animal. The movie is scheduled to be released on August 11, 2023.

In addition to Ranbir, Rashmika, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol will star in the movie. The stars were also spotted filming in Manali just several days ago. Sandeep Reddy Vanga directs the film.

Rashmika will also be featured in Mission Manju, opposite Sidharth Malhotra. She will also co-star in the film Goodbye opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta. The actor will also appear in Thalapathy 66, which will be released next year.
