Animal box office collection Day 4 — Ranbir Kapoor starrer is unstoppable; inches closer to ₹250 crore

Animal is Ranbir Kapoor's second theatrical release of the year. After Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar, the actor's new film hit the big screen on December 1, 2023. It clashed with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur at the box office. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial got a bumper opening with a collection of ₹63.80 crore. As for Animal's collection on day 4, the film remained steady.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Ranbir Kapoor's Animal minted around ₹39.90 crore at the ticket window. Considering the same, the total domestic box office collection of the film now stands at ₹241.43 crore. By tomorrow, the movie will race past ₹250 crore at the BO in India.

For those who are unaware, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film witnessed a jump on day 2 as it collected ₹66.27 crore while the film earned ₹71.46 crore on day 3.

Animal worldwide box office collection

Meanwhile, Animal got a massive opening of ₹116 crore at the global box office. Within three days of the film's theatrical release, the collection went up to ₹356 crore. As of today, it remains to be seen which new box office record will be set by Animal. The good part is that the film is doing well in India as well as overseas.

Animal's box office clash with Sam Bahadur

While Ranbir's movie Animal got a thunderous opening, Vicky's Sam Bahadur was off to a decent start. After three days, the Meghna Gulzar directorial collected ₹25.55 crore. Although the war drama started on a slow note, the film is gaining momentum at the box office with each passing day. Having said that, Animal is way ahead of Sam Bahadur in terms of box office collection.

About Animal

The plot of Animal revolves around the complex relationship of a father-son duo. Ranbir plays Ranvijay Singh, who can go to any extreme to protect his father, Anil Kapoor aka Balbir Singh. On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna essays the role of Geetanjali, the love interest of Ranvijay. As for Bobby Deol, he is the main antagonist of the movie.
