While addressing a media event for Animal recently, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about whether he had doubts about signing the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial
There are just a handful of days left for the release of ‘Animal’, which happens to be the much-awaited and also the most eagerly awaited film of the season. Almost everywhere, there are only talks and discussions about how powerful Ranbir Kapoor’s character has come out in the film’s trailer. Just like the fans all over, even the film’s stars are equally all charged up and super excited about the release of the film. That also kind of explains the reason why the film’s actors and the film’s makers are leaving no stone unturned as far as the film’s publicity is concerned.
In one of the promotional events for the film, which was held in Chennai recently, Ranbir Kapoor was answering the equations related to the film with his trademark composure. Amongst the many questions, there was one question which really stood out. Ranbir Kapoor was asked whether he had any doubt in the film’s script in the initial stage. To which, Ranbir Kapoor said that there was no doubt at all.
The ‘Animal’ actor added that most of the Indian male have some form of conflict with their father and that there was also the distance (with their fathers) because there is so much of respect, but there is also fear. He added that the father-son emotion in India was very sensitive and which has been no tapped too much. Saying that, he also added that the film ‘Animal’ has tapped into that interesting aspect (of father and son relationship), and that's why he was looking forward to that.
As for the film ‘Animal’, besides Ranbir Kapoor, it stars Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. The film also sees the presence of the veteran actor Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in extremely important roles. The film, which has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, will be released on December 1 this year.
