The trailer that has been much-awaited is finally here, and it's definitely worth the wait. Just 10 days before the release of Animal, the makers dropped the trailer for the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer violent drama, giving viewers a glimpse into what's in store.

A twist in the tale

As far as the plot is concerned, going by the trailer, Animal is the tale of a son (Ranbir Kapoor) who has an inexhaustible amount of love for his father (Anil Kapoor). As their relationship deteriorates, a miraculous chain of events unfolds, which ultimately causes the son to transform miraculously and develop a ferocious desire for vengeance.

Before the trailer, it looked like a son was seeking revenge for his father. But their relationship leads him to become a notorious gangster, for whom violence is the answer. However, things take a turn when his father is attacked and the son seeks revenge — an act deemed unforgivable. The trailer then gives a glimpse into the character of "bloody" Bobby Deol, who is unstoppable and is around to just slash throats. Well, it's going to be a battle between two bloodthirsty individuals, but why? For the answer to that we need tp wait for the release of Animal on the big screen.

Intriguing characters

Animal has an ensemble cast and every character has a story to tell. This includes Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri. Suresh Oberoi and Shakti Kapoor also feature in pivotal roles.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga has penned the screenplay as well as edited the film. Interestingly, Animal has an A certificate from the CBFC, and it's a long film; the runtime is about 3 hours and 21 minutes.  The film is set for its big-screen release on December 1, 2023.
