Anirudh Ravichander brought on board to compose music for Dada star Kavin's next. Details inside

Kavin, who earned a huge fan base after his stint with Bigg Boss Tamil 3, is on cloud nine after his recent outing Dada turned out to be a superhit. The film, directed by debutant Ganesh K Babu, is one of the hit Tamil movies of this year, which impressed critics and audience alike.

His chemistry with Aparna Das and engaging screenplay were highlights of the romantic drama which started streaming on Amazon Prime Video a week ago. Cinephiles have been curious to know about the actor's next project and here comes news on the same.

He will be playing the lead in dance choreographer Sathish Krishnan's directorial debut. The untitled movie is expected to go on floors in April. Raahul will bankroll the film which is also billed as a romantic drama. The team has roped in young sensation Anirudh Ravichander to compose music.

Needless to say, this has brought all the hype the movie needed even before the makers have made an official announcement. According to sources, a leading heroine is likely to be brought on board to be paired opposite Kavin.      

Anirudh already has his hands full; he had committed himself for Rajinikanth's Jailer, Kamal Haasan's Indian 2, Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, Vijay's Leo and Jr NTR's NTR 30 (tentative title) among others. He will be joining hands with Superstar for Thalaivar 170 (tentative title), too, which has TJ Gnanavel at the helm.

Meanwhile, Ganesh, who directed Dada, will next direct a project for Lyca Productions. The production house announced the news on the second day of Dada's release, and the filmmaker had expressed excitement on the same.
