Anirudh Ravichander's quote shoots up: ₹15 Cr for a straight Telugu film?

Anirudh Ravichander is currently the top music composer in the country, with back-to-back hits in his career. His next biggie, Coolie, is all set to hit the screens on August 14, 2025. All the songs released so far from this film have become chartbusters, creating solid hype for the film.

Anirudh hikes his fee in Telugu cinema

When it comes to Telugu cinema, Anirudh is busy with Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom, which is set for release on July 31, 2025. Anirudh has taken a lot of time to wrap up the BGM, and that is also one of the reasons for the film’s postponement.

Anirudh is in solid demand in Telugu films and is in talks with a few top directors. One of the sources close to industry circles has revealed that Anirudh is demanding a whopping ₹15 crore for a straight Telugu film. For Vijay's Kingdom, Anirudh was paid ₹12 crore, and now he is demanding ₹15 crore.

The makers are also not shying away from paying Anirudh that amount, as his work elevates the film to another level. Anirudh's last film was Jr NTR's Devara, and we all know what kind of musical hit it was. His BGM elevating NTR was loved by one and all.

As of now, Anirudh is busy with two Telugu films. One is Magic, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri of Jersey and Kingdom fame. The other is The Paradise, which has Nani as the main lead. Along with these, he is also in talks for a few projects under the Sithara Entertainments banner, which has already worked with him starting from Jersey.

Anirudh's demand shocks many

The team behind Anirudh is very confident that the star composer deserves every penny, as he brings massive hype to any project he takes on. However, a few banners in Tollywood are having second thoughts about the price Anirudh is quoting.
