Anirudh's update on Vikram's OST release ahead of the Kamal Haasan-starrer's OTT premiere leaves fans excited

A few days ago, Disney+ Hotstar officially announced that Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram which was released in theatres in the first week of June will drop on the OTT platform on July 8. The film which is still running in theatres with decent occupancy is the biggest Tamil blockbuster in the pandemic era. 

The Kamal Haasan-starrer, which marked the veteran actor-filmmaker's return to the silver screen after a four-year hiatus, is also the highest grossing movie in Tamil Nadu, surpassing the record set by Baahubali 2 five years ago. 

Apart from Kamal Haasan's performance and the screen presence of other actors including Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Gayathrie, Narain and Suriya in a cameo, the prime attraction of the project is the effective background score by Anirudh Ravichander. His music complemented Girish Gangadharan's splendid visuals and Anbarivu's spectacular action choreography.

Fans of Kamal and other film lovers have been enquiring about the possibility of releasing the movie's OST track to Anirudh on social media. The young composer has now come up with the much-awaited update on the same. He took to his Twitter page to post, "#VikramBGM #VikramOST readyyy Jukebox within a few days (sic)."

It is expected that the OST will be out on or before the day Vikram will have its OTT premiere. The comment section of his tweet has been flooding with messages about fans requesting to release music played during their favourite scenes from the film. 

Vikram is Anirudh's fourth film this year after Beast, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal and Don. The OST from Beast was released recently, leaving Vijay fans elated. Now, it is time for Kollywood movie lovers to enjoy the pulsating music from the most celebrated Tamil movie in recent times.
