Anko Ki Kothin: Saurav Palodhi releases the look of Parno Mittra, Ushasie Chakrabarty, and Shankar Debnath

Theatre personality, director, and actor Saurav Palodhi has been busy shooting his upcoming film Anko Ki Kothin. The film which delves into the dreams of three young children, features Parno Mittra, Ushasie Chakrabarty Shankar Debnath, and others. On Thursday, the first look of the characters was revealed.

Anko Ki Kothin literally means Math is difficult. The film delves into the lives of three young underprivileged children who dream of becoming a doctor, nurses, and engineers. Their families do not have the means to support their dreams. Yet, these three children built a hospital around their locality. On the other hand, there are two important characters, Shah Rukh and Kajol – who live in that area and have their share of dreams and hurdles. They want to marry each other but their respective communities do not support their dreams. Parno plays Kajol while Prasun – a theatre actor – plays Shah Rukh. All these characters’ dreams will shape the film.

In the photos, we see all the characters in shabby outfits. Ushasie and Parno wear shabby salwar kameez. Shankar is the father of a child who wants to be a doctor. Ushasie plays an important character. 

Earlier, in an interview with OTTplay, Saurav said, “It is not just the calculations of arithmetic and algebra, the quotations of our lives are pretty complicated too. This film talks about marginal people and their lives. It is about their dreams and how they live with that.”
