Popular YouTuber C Elamaran aka Blue Sattai Maran's directorial debut, Anti Indian, which was earlier announced as a theatrical release on December 3, is finally hitting the screens on December 10. The makers of the controversial film have now come up with a two-minute sneak peek.
The video takes a dig at a few politicians who appear to be from a right wing outfit. It begins with the funeral ceremony of a person and a few politicians who have planned to indulge in opportunity politics on the unfortunate death.
One of the politicians from the party, while talking to media, says that his party is committed to the lives of Hindus living in India and that this is the only country where people who belong to majority religion is scared of those who hail from the minority religions.
To a question on why his party didn't contest in the recent by-elections, he says, "Our aim is to win major elections. We aren't keen on focusing on small and irrelevant elections like this."
The plot of Anti Indian revolves around the death of a person and how three religions claim rights on the person's funeral ceremony. After courting controversy over its title, the Censor Board refuses to certify the film, thanks to the portrayal of a few scenes which allegedly throw light on the current political system in Tamil Nadu.
The movie is said to have criticized three major religions in India, a few politicians and a big superstar who refrained from taking a plunge into politics after giving hopes to his fans about his political entry for a few decades. Post rejection by Censor Board, the film was given an objection by revising committee as well. Later, it was the Madras High Court which cleared the movie, with no cuts and an U/A certificate.
