Anupam Kher takes his best friend Satish Kaushik's daughter Vanshika out for lunch

When the veteran actor cum film maker Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9 this year, it left an ‘never-to-be-filled’ void not just in Bollywood, but also in the hearts of his best friends forever Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher. The impeccable and inseparable trio have always been a glowing testimony to what real selfless friendship is all about and what it should be. When the news about Satish Kaushik’s untimely passing away got known, Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher were totally at a loss of words.

True to the saying, ‘Some friendships live forever’, Anupam Kher stood like a rock by the late Satish Kaushik’s family. Despite of his busy professional schedules, he is always there for filmmaker’s family. He had even promised to spend a lot of time with his 10-year-old daughter Vanshika. Recently, Anupam Kher took his late friend Satish Kaushik's daughter Vanshika out on a lunch to her favourite hotel. Not just that, he even pouted for the small girl while posing for the photographs.

Seeing the veteran actor Anupam Kher spending time with Vanshika, it simply melted the netizens, who, just could not hold themselves back from praising the actor. One netizen commented stating, “Anupam Sir hats off to your friendship (with a clapping emoji followed by a crying emoji) Sahi kaha tha Javed Akhtar sahab ne, Anupam jaisa dost ho to mein bhi marna chahunga (Javed Akhtar had very correctly said that, if he had a friend like Anupam Kher, then, even, he would like to die”.

The late actor-cum-filmmaker Satish Kaushik, who passed away on March 9 after celebrating Holi, is survived by wife Shashi and daughter Vanshika. As for Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik, the duo had done many films together. A few films that the two stellar performers had done together include ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, ‘Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge’, ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’, ‘Deewana Mastana’ and others.
