The day starts off with the condolence meet of Maaya. Seeing Maaya’s photograph, Anupamaa recalls all the incidents that lead to the sudden death of Maaya. She also recalls how Maaya was profusely seeking forgiveness from her. On their part, Barkhaa and Ankush discuss the untimely death of Maaya. Barkhaa tells Ankush about how can Maaya die when Anupamaa was present there. Saying this, she suspects foul play. Hearing this, Ankush shuts her up.
On the other hand, in the Shah Hous, Baa tells everyone that, since Anupamaa is a mother first, she may just cancel her plans of going to America. That’s when Kaavya chips in saying that, she will take care of chhoti Anu. Meanwhile, everyone gets ready for the condolence meet of Maaya. That’s when Samar tells everyone to go by the car, while he and Dimply will be coming by bike.
Hearing that, Dimpy starts taking offence by saying that, why is it that, everyone else in the Shah House is privileged to do whatever they want. And why is it that, everyone expects her (Dimpy) to do all the household chores and despite all the tiredness and fatigue, she should be smiling all the time.
Hearing this, Samar tells Dimpy not to irritate him. That’s when Dimpy opens the ‘self-assumed’ Pandoara’s Box and says that, everybody in the house is only ready to pounce on her at the drop of a hat. Meanwhile, Anuj breaks down at the condolence meet of Maaya. Anuj tells her, Maaya’s accident reminds him of the sudden passing away of his parents, who also passed away in an accident. At that time, Anupamaa tells Anuj that, she was responsible for Maaya’s death as she could have seen the approaching truck. Anuj, on the other hand, tells Maaya that, everything is pre-destined and that no one can change anyone’s fate.
On the other hand, Barkhaa and Dimpy discuss the repercussions of the sudden death of Maaya. Baa and Vanraj try and console Anuj and Anupamaa upon Maaya’s death. Meanwhile, Vanraj encourages Anupamaa to go to America and not to stop for anyone or any reason.
