Anurag Basu prioritises Kartik Aaryan-Sreeleela’s film, but Aditya Roy Kapur-Sara Ali Khan's Metro… In Dino to arrive in 2025

Since its original announcement, Anurag Basu's Metro... In Dino has been subject to numerous delays, sparking new conjecture around its release. The movie has been delayed multiple times from its original 2024 release date; it features Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, and an ensemble cast.

T-Series' statement

There have been rumblings that Basu is presently focusing on his love drama starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela, leading some to speculate that the release of Metro... In Dino would be delayed till 2026. "Contrary to some media reports claiming that Metro... In Dino is getting pushed, we confirm the movie is releasing this year in 2025," a T-Series representative stated.

Diwali 2025 clash

The makers have revealed the song trailer for the romantic film featuring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela, and we have set the release date for Diwali 2025. It is expected that Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, will compete with this film during the festive season.

According to its announcement, Metro… In Dino would continue the themes of Life In A… Metro by delving into the nuances of contemporary relationships in India's urban centres. Starring Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series.

Back in 2024, Aditya had revealed to India Today that the filming of Metro...In Dino has concluded, and it is now ready for release. The actor is really looking forward to the film's release and he is really anticipating this flick.
