It is known to all that director Anurag Kashyap has always made more headlines for his brave moves and posts on social media, rather than his films. Whether it's Bollywood, netizens, or his fellow colleagues in the industry, there are very few people who actually receive applause from the Gangs of Wasseypur-director. And now, one of them is director Abhishek Swain and his upcoming Odia film - Jajabara 2.0.
Anurag Kashyap mocks Bollywood
Although the official trailer was released 3 weeks ago, Kashyap once again shared the trailer of Jajabara 2.0 on his Instagram, and gave a big shout out to the film. The Bombay Velvet-director couldn't stop praising the film’s intriguing storyline, its low budget, and aesthetic cinematography. He also sarcastically pokes Hindi cinema and claims that the industry needs to learn how to make films.

Just yesterday, Kashyap made headlines for announcing that he will not waste anymore time in helping newcomers and mediocre projects from now on. He also claimed that if anyone from the industry wants to meet him for even only 10-15 minutes, he will charge Rs. 1 lakh. For 30 minutes he will charge Rs. 2 lakh, and for 1 hour he will charge Rs. 5 lakh. He also stated that people have to pay him in advance, before meeting him.

Hence, after promoting Jajabara 2.0 on social media today, netizens swamped on Instagram, trolling him sarcastically and asking how much he got paid from the producers of Jajabara 2.0. However, some showered immense appreciation for the Odia film’s success.

Baisali, Sweta Acharya, Choudhury Bikas Das, Manas Ranjan, Supray Meher and Lala Mohapatra in pivotal roles.
