Dhanush's directorial comeback

Dhanush made his directorial debut in 2017 with Pa Paandi. Starring Rajkiran and Revathi, it was a feel-good movie, which received both critical and commercial success. However, his upcoming directorial venture Raayan is on the extreme end of the spectrum. Judging from the first look posters, Raayan seems to be a tale of the most violent men.

The movie's first look poster revealed Dhanush as a butcher covered in blood along with Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram. At the moment, we have very little information about the movie's storyline or the details of Dhanush's characters.

Raayan also stars S. J. Suryah, Selvaraghavan, and Prakash Raj.

Dhanush has also directed a romantic comedy named Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. This film is also expected to arrive in cinemas this year.
