AR Rahman surprises fans with an Instagram post featuring him and Ilaiyaraaja, leaves music buffs into a tizzy

Even as the never ending debate on who is better among Ilaiyaraaja and AR Rahman continues on social media like any other usual day, the latter has now surprised fans of both music composers with a video he has posted from the airport.

Both of them were returning to Chennai in Tamil Nadu after completing their respective works for different projects. While Rahman was in the USA and Canada, Raja was in Budapest. The short video Rahman has posted from his Instagram page has him seen smiling along with Raja. He captioned it, "We are returning from different continents ..but destination is always தமிழ்நாடு #tamilnadu @ilayaraja_official from #budapest @arrahman from #Usa #canada (sic)."

A couple of days ago, Isai Puyal was in the news when Canadian city Markham named one of its streets after AR Rahman. He had thanked people of Canada and had posted a few pictures from an event where he was felicitated.

He also left his fans in Canada thrilled with a concert which was held a few days ago. People went gaga over most of the songs he crooned at the concert and a few of them took to their social media pages to post videos and pictures from the event.

Similarly, Isai Gnani Ilaiyaraaja, who was working from Budapest, posted a few beautiful pictures of the country from his room on his Twitter page. The video posted by Rahman featuring himself and Raja has clocked around 1M views within a couple of hours.

Many music buffs, singers and Tamil film lovers couldn't control their excitement seeing their icons together. A few months ago, both of them had exchanged pleasantries on social media, leaving fans elated.
