After months of waiting, fans of Vijay are quite excited as the team of Beast has come up with a major update. Sun Pictures, which is bankrolling the film, has announced that the first single from the movie will be released on February 14. The song, which is titled as Arabic Kuthu, will have Sivakarthikeyan penning lyrics for it, while Anirudh has composed the same.

The makers have come up with an interesting promo video for the update, resembling the videos released by the makers of Doctor an year ago. The six-minute video begins with Nelson, director of Beast, discussing with Anirudh on the genre of the first single from the film.

Anirudh asks Nelson to come up with a theme for the song. When the latter says he is running short of ideas, the composer himself suggests Arabic Kuthu, to which Nelson reacts in a bewilderedly manner. Anirudh then goes on to explain that it is a pan world concept and that it will be a hit among music buffs.

He also asks Nelson to find a lyricist who is well versed with Arabic language for the song. Enters Sivakarthikeyan as the song writer upon Nelson seeking his help for the same.

The trio of Anirudh, Siva and Nelson are then seen dressed up in an Arabic thobe before the song composition. The music director then calls up Vijay and informs him about the genre of the song. Vijay, too, looks puzzled on hearing the word Arabic Kuthu.

He asks both Nelson and Anirudh to come to his home the next day when he seemed to be slightly unimpressed with a short music bit which the composer made him listen to. For now, Vijay fans have their fingers crossed as the song will release in a week's time.
