Are Rupanjana Mitra and Ratool Mukherjee gearing up for marriage?

Rupanjana Mitra and Ratool Mukherjee had their engagement last year when they went to the hills for a trip. Now, the couple will tie the knot. Rupanjana says that they have a mature relationship unlike many other couples, and hence they took the decision after much thought. Rupanjana said that she would start her new life with Ratool this year, but keeping in mind her son Riyan.

Ratool and Rupanjana have been seeing each other for almost five years. Rupanjana got divorced from her husband in 2017 and then brought up her child single-handedly. Rupanjana said that she had been single since her pregnancy. Ratool is a known face in Tollywood who acted in many serials. They first met on the floor which gradually turned to love. When she first saw Ratool, her son was four. Now he reads in class six. Rupanjana told Anandabazar Online, “We thought this with my son in mind. Riyan's opinions are crucial to us. Our relationship is more mature than many others around us, hence we don't want to spoil this.”

How is Ratool's relationship with Riyan? Rupanjana said, “We three are friends. Actually what we are doing is a bit modern. Hence the understanding between the three of us is essential. Ratool and Riyan call each other as Champ. They call me Bhutia. we take any decision jointly. We forget our past, but that doesn't mean we can't restart our life. It was my lone fight. I brought up my son single-handedly and got a good friend by my side. The decision to stay together rests on our mutual friendship and understanding. We took a long time.” They will start as husband and wife soon, but Rupanjana did not want to disclose the dates. They are thinking about some potential dates. They want to keep it as a homely affair.
