Every day leading up to the scheduled release of BTS V's song 'FRI(END)S,' BigHit Music has been dropping hints about what Kim Taehyung's single could be about. Set to be released on March 15, 2024, the agency released a new Flash Video on March 11, featuring Taehyung with a girl, prompting ARMY to eagerly decode the meaning behind the upcoming single.

In the various scenes flashing, V and the girl are seen close, with one shot showing her on his back, while in another, they are simply close and smiling. Another shot displays photos of them together, and one includes a newspaper headline that reads, "A relationship that becomes eternal by ending."

With these new visuals emerging and Taehyung exuding the ideal boyfriend material, ARMY is busy deciphering the potential themes of the single. Some speculate that it could depict V getting "friend-zoned," while others suggest it might serve as the "epilogue for Layover," his album released before enlisting in the South Korean military.

About FRI(END)S:

Kim Taehyung's "FRI(END)S" is characterized as a pop-soul R&B track and is expected to delve into the complexities of love. According to a press release from BigHit Music, "The track, rooted in the pop-soul R&B genre, offers relatable and clever romantic narratives with lyrics entirely crafted in English".

The album, released on September 8, 2023, achieved a remarkable milestone on the Billboard 200 chart. It became only the second Korean solo album to spend seven consecutive weeks on the chart, following V's bandmate RM's solo album, "Indigo."

The album consists of 6 songs namely the title track 'Slow Dancing', 'Love Me Again', 'Rainy Days' 'Blue' and 'For Us' also includes an additional piano version of the title song.
