Art director Kiran of Vijay-starrer Beast reveals more pictures of the impressive set erected for the film

It's been 10 days since Nelson Dilipkumar's Vijay-starrer Beast has been released in multiple languages. The hostage thriller which was released in a huge number of screens across the world opened to mixed response as soon as its first shows were completed in many countries.

Despite the not-so-encouraging response from critics and the audience, and stiff competition from KGF: Chapter 2, Beast is said to have grossed 200 crores. The film is said to be Vijay's fifth project to attain this commendable feat. The action scenes choreographed by Anbariv, background score by Anirudh and cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa earned unanimous praise from everyone.    

A craft which received unexpected appreciation in the movie is the art direction which was helmed by Kiran who has also made appearances in a few films. The East Coast mall which was erected for Beast had garnered attention from many movie buffs from the time its trailer was released.

Kiran had shared a few pictures of the mall interiors recently and received widespread recognition on social media. He had also thanked every member of the art department and posted a photo of the crew members who worked with him.

He has now surprised film lovers by posting a few more pictures from the movie's set. It involves the luxurious restroom which appears in the party scene where Vijay and Pooja Hegde meet for the first time, and the office of the Ministry of Defence.

As expected, movie buffs went gaga over the hard work he and his team put across to bring authenticity in many crucial sequences. He will be working in Nelson's Thalaivar 169 as well. The movie starring Rajinikanth in the lead is likely to go on floors in June.
