Arvind Swami and Prabhudeva to work on director Venkat Prabhu's next?

Venkat Prabhu is a fan-favourite director who has a large following. He has delivered some great movies starring big names in the industry. According to some latest reports, the director will now be teaming up with Prabhudeva and Arvind Swami for his next.

The director is reportedly planning to do a multi-language drama and wants Prabhudeva and Arvind Swami to star in it. Social media buzz also suggests that Kiccha Sudeep could play the antagonist in the movie after the director hinted at their collaboration through a social media post. 

The mega project is said to be produced by Nitin Sathya. The paperwork for the film is underway. There will be an official announcement once the paperwork and all other formalities are completed. It is being said that the director is already working on a script for the film. There is still no information about the female lead in the movie. 

Venkat Prabhu is currently working on Maanaadu, a political action drama starring Silambarasan and Kalyani Priyadarshan, while S J Suryah will play the antagonist. The work for the movie is almost completed and is expected to pass the censor board soon. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi under the banner of V House Productions, the film is slated for a Dussehra release. 

Meanwhile, Arvind Swami recently made his directorial debut with a segment in Navarasa, the Netflix anthology series produced by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan. He is now awaiting the release of Thalaivii, a biopic on the life of J Jayalalithaa, where he plays MGR alongside Kangana Ranaut, who will play the former Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister.
