Karthik Yogi's much-delayed Dikkiloona, starring Santhanam in three roles, is finally premiering on Zee5. The movie has Shirin Kanchwala and Anagha playing female lead in it. Yogi Babu, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Munishkanth and Anandraj among others play pivotal roles in the film which has cinematography by Arvi and editing by Jomin. Dinesh Subbarayan and Sheriff have choreographed stunt and dance sequences respectively for the movie, which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

When is Dikkiloona releasing on Zee5?

The comic caper will be streaming from September 10. The shooting of the film was wrapped up before the first lockdown and makers had planned for a theatrical release last year, but it didn't materialize owing to the delay in opening of theatres in Tamil Nadu. They were looking forward to a possible release date this year, too, but the second wave of COVID-19 played spoilsport with their plans.

Is Harbhajan Singh playing a role in Dikkiloona?

The former Indian cricketer is making his acting debut with the film. He will be seen in a cameo, as Sardev Singh, a hockey player, along with Hockey Mani, one of the three characters Santhanam is essaying in the movie. The makers had recently released Harbhajan's still from the film, in which he was seen posing for a photo with Santhanam.

Billed as a comedy, with intriguing sci-fi elements in it, the movie had hit headlines earlier for the remix version of the evergreen song Per Vachalum from Michael Madana Kama Rajan in it. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the new version of the song which was originally set to tunes by maestro Ilaiyaraaja.
