We had earlier reported that actors Arya and Gautham Karthik will be headlining a film titled Mr X. Actor Arya, who is known for his passion for fitness and sports, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share how he has trained and worked on his physique for the film and also revealed that they are currently shooting the last schedule.
The Sarpetta Parambarai actor flaunted his ripped body in the latest pictures on social media, and also spoke about his incredible transformation over the last one year.
Directed by Manu Anand, who previously helmed Vishnu Vishal-starrer FIR, Mr X is produced by Prince Pictures. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
Arya preps for Mr X
In a post sharing his physical journey since the beginning of the film, Arya said that the team has finalised the script in March 2023 and he started to work on his look from April 2023. Mr X went on floors in September last year and the team is currently shooting the last schedule, Arya revealed.
"Its been one year of constantly pushing myself towards the goal. So here I m in March 2024," wrote Arya as he revealed his ripped body that he has developed for the film.
Mr X is written and directed by Manu Anand who last directed FIR starring Vishnu Vishal. The upcoming film also stars Sarath Kumar, Manju Warrier, Anagha in vital roles, apart from Gautham Karthik and Arya. Mr X is backed by Prince Pictures production banner.
Mr X - an action drama?
Divyanka Anand Shankar and Raam H Puthran have worked on the screenplay of Mr X along with Manu. Touted to be an action drama, the film will revolve around two characters with the same goal, as per reports. With Tanveer Mir serving as the cinematographer, the music for Mr X is scored by Dhibu Ninan Thomas. Prasanna GK is the editor.
While Mr X is set to get a release date, Arya also announced that a sequel to his period action drama Sarpetta Parambarai is in the making. The film will be helmed by Pa Ranjith once again. The actor was last seen in Telugu film Saindhav.
