As Shaakuntalam streams on Prime video, news of Samantha not signing Telugu films goes viral

Shaakuntalam is one film that Samantha had pinned a lot of hopes on. But sadly, the film flopped in no time and disappointed the star heroine big time. As the film is streaming on Amazon Prime, trolling continues to haunt the team. The VFX is being trolled badly and Samantha is being dragged into the trolling posts for no fault of hers.

On the other hand, the first song from Khushi, Na Roja Nuvve has caught on quite well. The chemistry between Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda is spot on and fans are eagerly waiting to see what has director Shiva Nirvana in store for them when the film releases. Apart from this film, Samantha is yet to sign any new film in Telugu.

Though she is being offered multiple biggies, Samantha has kept silent and has not responded to any one of them. One of her close sources reveals to us that she wants to do one film at a time. As of now, Samantha is shooting for the Indian version of Citadel co-starring Varun Dharan. Only when this project gets wrapped up, Samantha will sign her next.

The star heroine will be seen as a Muslim character named Aara in Khushi. She plays a Kashmiri girl and will have a very emotional role as per the news. Shiva Nirvana had earlier directed Samantha in Majili and the film was a major success at the box office. So, the hype for Khushi is real but fans would want to know what is Samantha's lineup of films.
